The problem with the E46 M3 was that it was way too expensive to fix if it was broken, and a lot of the cheaper ones were broken.
So I moved on. After looking at many cars, my friend tipped me off to a Saturn Sky Redline. 260 hp, 260 torque (at 2500 rpm!), turbo'd, manual, roadster. 0-60 in 5.1 seconds. Looks gorgeous. 28 mpg highway. Road and Track seems to love the thing. I don't see anything wrong with it! (except maybe that it has no storage space lol, but I don't care about that)

Well, they were recalled, so you might be able to find one, but they still command a price.

Recalls are free though. Also I can easily find ones in my price range with 60k miles or so. It's really a good deal

That's right, your budget is more than mine ever was/is. So, how was Cincy?

Never went, dealer got too sketchy so I backed out. I'm sad, but it's opened up opportunities, like this lol.

I already had my S at the time, but if I had been in the market a few years later, these would have been strong contenders. Go for it, I say!

They're rare gems but IMO the better looking of the two. Although I don't know if Saturn offered a Z0K SCCA autocross/track package like the Solstice got to beat the Miata in its class.

Mmm, good...
Seriously, I'm glad my offbeat suggestion actually is something workable. Also, don't forget to turn up the boost. MORE BOOSTUS!!!

IMHO the rear of the solstice is better but the front doesn't do it close to justice. Both Saturn and Pontiac are great little cars those I would take either of them.

Go for it they're fun little cars sort of like a higher powered miata and you're lead picture is stunning as to what they could look like.

I LOVE these things! I've wanted one for a long time. Do get. And let me test drive it ;)
